West Village Giving Rise to Downtown Calgary

Yesterday the Calgary Planning Commission (CPC) approved the Land Use and Development Permit for the West Village Towers. This exciting development is giving rise to a vibrant new area that will serve as the gateway to downtown west.

Following the CPC approval the owner is anxious to begin working on construction drawings. Next the applicant will be taking the land use to Council for approval on October 6.

The three tower development, located at 1110 -9th Avenue SW,  will include 575 units and 90,000 square feet of ground floor retail and second level office space.

This development is part of the realization of our West Village Area Redevelopment Plan approved by City Council in July 2010.
